How to Unlock Huawei E5172As-22 4G LTE CPE Router Gateway?

Unlocking of Huawei E5172S-22 4G CAT 4 LTE CPE router (Surfline Ghana) & Huawei E5172Cs-930 router (Blu Ghana) is a one time job. The best part of unlocking is that, after unlock you can use any another network provider SIM as well as default SIM. It has firmware version V200R001C1209SP100.

How to Unlock Huawei E5172As-22 4G LTE CPE Router Gateway?


1. Change the default SIM with another network SIM.

2. Connect the modem with the LAN port to PC.

3. Login to router admin panel (Username : admin / Password : admin).

4. Click on the INTERNET tab displayed next to HOME.

5. Under PIN MANAGEMENT, the SIM LOCK window is available, where you will put the unlock code. It would be automatically displayed.

6. Put the correct unlock / NCK code / SIMLock code and click on OK.

7. If the device does not reboot automatically then reset it and create the profile according to the new network provider SIM.

Now, enjoy the unlocked Huawei E5172 Surfline, MTN or Blu router of Ghana.

Note : Unlock code is not free for Huawei E5172. Its charge is only GHC 40, which you can pay through Mobile Money or in cash. Correct code will be then delivered to you.

    Thanks so much..my Blu router now uses all SIM cards.. Huawei E5172Cs-930 is better with unlocking

    I've inserted the unlock code and the device accepted it so now it's unlocked but still the device doesn't get network it's only works on surfline and you can't even change network band to support 3g
