How To Develop a Website with FREE Domain & FREE Hosting

Previously wrote on How To create a PayPal account in Ghana, today I will be teaching how to develop a website with free domain, free hosting and a user friendly developing interface.

You may not get a .com but a very sweet domain!

First of all, I would like to introduce to you the new terms we shall be using.

* Host

* Domain

* Builder

  • Host

The host is the free server that will keep your website working 24/7

  • Domain

The Domain is the desired name, you would like to call your website.

  • Builder

Builder is the new thing i am going to introduce to you, even to some of developers already

here. Its something different from usual

Note these before we continue

The domain here comes first, you choose your website name.
So as you wait think about the name of your website.

Free Domain can be generated from here.
Choose your domain

When you have the desired domain, it's free for every year, it runs on yearly base.

Then we go on to the hosting. The hosting is also very simple as ABC

Now the hosting is also going to be done here.
This is where your Control Panel (C Panel) will be

Some of you may be wondering what C panel is. Its usually known to you as Dashboard.

The dashboard is an interface that allows you control how your website looks and works

On 000webhost, create a new account and activate.
After your account is activated and you are in the 000Webhost, you will see create new account.

Click on it and choose "I will choose my own domain"
Type in your domain and then your password.

Click on create account

It should take about 2 mins to be ready.

After creation, click on the website you created then go to C Panel
At the C Panel. click on the account details

Copy the namservers with their respective IPs (there are 2 namesavers, copy both)
It's something like this ns01.000webhost.com and its IP address 1xx.xxx.xx.xx

Now go to the Freenom site, where you got your domain name and click on Domains, you website details and Management Tools are on the right.

Now click on Management Tools and choose nameservers.

Choose use custom name server and type in the name servers you copied.
Click on change nameserver
You will see a message "changes save successfully"

After that click on Enter control panel and look out for Zyro Website builder.

From there any changes you make reflects on your website. It takes some getting used to, so take some time and explore the functions of the Builder.
